Naples, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Collier County (DOH-Collier) encourages those who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to do so.
Vaccine administration is an ongoing effort and receiving the COVID-19 vaccine is an important part in disrupting the spread, preventing COVID-19, and, ultimately, allowing all residents to return to normal. To further encourage residents to receive the vaccine, DOH-Collier is launching the Crush COVID, Collier! campaign. In addition to community-wide distribution of handouts and flyers, information will be provided via social media platforms, radio spots, and other means.
The Moderna vaccine is readily available at DOH-Collier, no appointment is necessary. Those who are 18 years and older may receive this vaccine. For times of distribution and for any questions, contact the DOH-Collier COVID-19 Call Center at 239-252-6220, Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.
